In order to facilitate work on the vendors and their communication with the General Entrainment Authority, the Roznamah allows vendors to communicate and deliver ideas online. The General Entertainment Authority has enriched the Ideas Portal with wealthy and varied content to allow for event that will go on throughout the year to suit the citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. To achieve that, the General Entertainment Authority has developed 14 profiles to inspire and guide vendors to create innovative and rich content. The presented introductory themes include seasons, school holidays and religious occasions, as well as generic themes that appeal to Saudi society such as innovation, art, heritage, civilization and others. Vendors who wish to obtain financial and marketing support can register on the Ideas Portal and then choose the idea(s) that is (are) suitable for them and then submit proposals that are compatible with the chosen season or themes. The General Entertainment Authority seeks to ensure the success of the proposed events through early planning and coordination of the Roznamah, therefore vendors who wish to receive support and fund must register on the Ideas Portal in the specified period.
The period for submitting the proposals starts at 7 November and finishes by 24 December, 2017.
The General Entertainment Authority provides support for vendors in the following tracks: free marketing on Roznamah channels, technical support from the General Entertainment Authority team and financial fund for the qualified ideas.
Yes, as the General Entertainment Authority ensures to help the vendors by updating their information periodically to keep them up to date with all the requirements and news.
Creating the vendor’s profile is considered the first step, the General Entertainment Authority will review the provided information and you will be contacted if there are any clarifications or in the case of accepting your establishment’s profile.
The Ideas Portal’s offers become available only for the registered vendors who are approved by the General Entertainment Authority.
You will be contacted by the General Entertainment Authority to collect more information if required. And once your profile status has been updated, you will be notified through email.
The authorized focal point is the person whose name is registered at the Chamber of Commerce.
The provided information will be automatically saved, and then the vendor can complete registration whenever possible.
The vendors’ proposals are not competitive. In case two proposals from different vendors are similar, the General Entertainment Authority will evaluate both and advise the vendors accordingly.
The General Entertainment Authority’s role is limited to support in planning the event and advisory where needed. This support ensures the event’s readiness as well as supporting vendors by providing required information.
After approving the vendor’s profile by the General Entertainment Authority, the vendor can create more than one idea under the same theme or in various themes, and each idea will be reviewed separately.
After approving the vendor’s profile, there is an option to create independent ideas in the Ideas’ Page.
The General Entertainment Authority provides financial support to qualified ideas. Each proposal will be reviewed and assessed independently, and the vendor is contacted to discuss event details.
The General Entertainment Authority team decides the funding amount according to many inputs, including:
  • The uniqueness and creativity of the proposal
  • The number and scale of visitors
  • The alignment between the proposal and the goals and ideas presented in introductory profiles
  • Diverse Locations: the number and type of cities listed, taking into consideration that support preference is for small and medium cities
